Extruded polystyrene foam, which is not only a progressive insulation, but also a structural element that holds the wooden slats parallel to each other, which provides additional strength to the timber. It is not absorbed by animals and microorganisms, so it is not used as a feed and does not create a nutrient medium for fungi and bacteria. It is environmentally safe, does not contain phenol compounds and its manufacture does not use substances and gases hazardous to the environment and human health.
